  • Translated the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children by designing the first in country comprehensive municipal response to human trafficking.

  • Engaged 250 stakeholders over six months and synthesized the information collected after conducting a strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats analysis - resulting in a strengths-based, gap-filling strategic plan.

  • Aspects of this strategic plan were replicated across the country and some parts of the globe.

Women and Girls Equity Fund

  • Aligned the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to the local context to create equity for women and girls.

  • Benchmarked major cities’ performance across 41 indicators and six outcome focus areas to measure the economic and health vitality of women and girls.

  • Developed the report to support market entry for a Women and Girls Equity Foundation, addressing historic disparities that result in lower-than-average outcomes for women and girls of color.

Launched Global Online Hub with Thomson Reuters Institute

  • Transitioned stewardship of a vast body of work created over eight years in a political office and launched a global online resource hub with one of the world’s largest data companies, bringing the body of work to a much broader global audience and preserving the administration’s legacy of contributions in this space.

Short and Long Term Natural Disaster Response

  • Realized the International Organization for Migration guide to natural disaster responses in the local context by creating a short- and long-term risk mitigation plan to ensure constituents and laborers were not exploited during shelter stays and rebuilding efforts.

  • Collaborated with more than 30 community organizations, all levels of government, 40 corporations, and 6,000+ affected individuals through a multi-stakeholder, multi-pronged approach.

  • Delivered cot-to-cot outreach in emergency shelters and conducted a year-long corporate risk mitigation education initiative to prevent reputational, legal, and financial risks.
